I own one of the Evolve grills and have found that it does everything I expected it to! I would recommend it to anyone shopping for this type of product. This is the main reason I wrote this review. However, I also felt I had to post this review because I am always puzzled to read negative reviews when there is no mention of whether or not you have actually called customer service and given them a chance to correct the problem. What did they say? Was the problem corrected? Were they courteous and helpful? I understand that sometimes problems do crop up, but is it really fair to tell bad things about a product when you haven't even given the company a chance to make it right? Even a great product is only as good as it's customer service AFTER the sale!! I truly don't find negative reviews helpful when you have not given them a fair chance to help.

I use this plate at least once a day and most days two and three times. This grill has certainly simplified my life, and this particular plate is the best. I cook frozen fish, hamburgers, steak, eggs, biscuits, fresh asparagus and green beans, you name it! Many times I will cook two food items at the same time. Does an excellent job on pork tenderloins and it's quick and easy. I am ordering two more plates as spares just in case the company decides to discontinue! I have not used my regular oven since I bought this grill and, since I am in Texas, that's a very good thing with our hot temps! I don't understand the clean-up problem someone mentioned....I recommend they buy the sponge that's made to fit the grill spacing.

The deep dish bake plate has corners that scratched the non-stick surface of my top plate. I am not sure how long my top plate will last now that it is damaged.

Buyer beware this site states this deep dish pan fits the G5 grill model GRP90WGR so I bought it. The plate will attach quite nicely to the grill but you CANNOT shut the grill !!!!!! The instruction pamphlet it comes with even cleary states it does fit the GRP90WGR grill. What a waste of time and money!!!!!!!
