This thing is fantastic - I cook everything in it! I really resisted getting one as my fiance had one in bachelor pad that always was dirty and I assumed they were always gross that. It was his roommates so it didn't come with us. One day we were out and there was one on sale so he bought it despite my protests, and I'm so glad he did! It cooks everything fast and well and minimizes dirtying up frying pans, as well as lets out a lot more fat. If you clean it up with paper towels while still a little hot as others suggested, it cleans up really well and is much easier than cleaning a frying pan. I cook so much more now that we have this since its fast and easier. We work late but its harder to justify unhealthy fast food when this thing makes a great steak, burger, chicken breast or tilapia filet in mere minutes! I always though it was just another silly infomercial gadget but it lives up to the promises and is a great product.

I should have bought one of these years ago! Lots of friends and family members have told me how much they loved their Foreman grills. Recently our local Groupon had an insane deal on this one so I bought it. And we love it. I've cooked burgers, chicken, steaks, fish and vegetables on it and everything comes out delicious!
I read a lot of reviews before I bought this one so clean-up is very easy, I do it exactly as several reviewers recommended. When I turn the grill off to cool, I dampen some paper towels and put them in it with the lid closed. We enjoy our dinner. Then I go back and almost all of the grill wipes clean with just those towels. Then I can use a sponge to clean it and wipe it out and it's ready for next time. Easy peasy. I wasn't sure if I'd like the non-removable plates but it's so easy to clean that it doesn't bother me.
The power cord on this one could also be a little longer but if it's really a problem, hey, that's why god invented extension cords. When I want a bigger or different type of grill, I would definitely buy another Foreman.

i will admit i was skeptic about the foreman grill. although most of my family members had one i still couldn't bring myself to buy one. the angels above had different plans, i got one from someone as a house warming gift. Boy, i couldn't thank them enough. the food is delicious and cooks so fast. with me being in college and having so much homework and working a part time job i don't have time to slave over a stove most of the time. i can pop a burger on or make grilled cheese while im doing my homework. I don't have to run back and forth checking on it. this thing is awesome. i just bought the indoor/outdoor grill so now my roommate and i can have BBQ's in the winter time and we live in an apartment lol. i have to say using this grill has turned me into quite the cook i might add. its hard to burn food when using this so my dates always love my cooking. someone must have heard our prayers ladies, because we can make a meal that would take 3 hrs in half the time and it taste just the same :)

I love my George Foreman grill. It is totally the best thing ever. My cooking time has been cut down dramatically so I have more time to spend with my children. They are excited about eating healthy because the food actually tastes great. I will always have one of these grills. Truley satisfied buyer.

I've owned at least 3 GF grills and comparably it is really nice is to have one that allows the removal of the upper and lower grilling surfaces in order to clean them up in the sink or dish washer. The one I use now is about 4 years old and does have the removal grills. I would've ordered this one as a replacement - but the fixed grills are not worth the hassle.

Hey! This is not a problem - I have owned the basic for years and use it daily and I love it!! Clean up of the fixed grills should not deter you from all the many, many benefits of these - such as great time savers, healthy cooking, etc. I actually saw a you tube video demonstration on how to cook something - and learned the trick to easy clean up - - I simply wet a folded paper towel and lay it across the hot grill. It instantly steams the plate. Most of the grease/gunk will stick to the paper towel, but any that does will easily wipe up with the steamed paper towel. Super easy!! (But I do plan to buy the fitted sponges that are now available.) Hope you enjoy your grill as much as I do!!!!
