The grill works so well it makes it easy to combine cheese, spinach or onion with your choice of meat on your bread for a great and outstanding sandwich.

Got this for Christmas and it works perfectly! It's faster than the documentation says, so check the pannini after about 1/2 the recommended cooking time. Couldn't be more pleased...especially at this price!

If someone could point me toward some replacement plates for the grill, I'd be much happier. Panini plates are starting to show wear and I need some olive oil spray to keep them mostly non-stick.

i had 2 george foreman original grills. LOVED them. when i wore them out i bought this cause of its equally large surface area and the option of using it in other ways with the replacement plates. i also liked being able to remove the plates. i agree that their grills are not as good as the original version. i had many years of great happy use from the original foreman grills. i am so disappointed in my new one. the feet that give the grill a slant are cheap, and removable. the feet broke in one week. the drip pan paint bubbled. why did they need to cheapen the products? go back to square one george!

I don't know why but when I bring down the top plate the front is tipped down. I put tongs or something there to try to level it but it only goes part way. Our grilled cheese sandwiches are flatter and more done on one end than the other. I tried to lubricate the moving part with a bit of silicone spray but other than loosening something I don't know how to make it less stiff. We had high hopes but it stays in the pantry most of the time.

Self leveling doesn't work
Posted December 17, 2011
The feet are not the problem. The problem is that when I bring the top down on, say, a grilled cheese sandwich with the top crust facing me, the top lid closest to the handle is lower than the back so the top crust of the sandwich is 1/4" thick and the bottom is 3/4" thick so nothing cooks evenly. I hate this thing and going to sell it on Craigslist. I'll take a flat grill on the burner and just turn the things.

Just wondering if you had checked your manual on how to adjust the feet on the bottom of the grill? I have one and we had to adjust the feet. And also if the tray is not in right it will not set level. Read the manual for these two items. Hope this helps. Rhonda
