Just received this today. Cooked dinner in it and love it. Steaks and vegetables cooked evenly and so tender. Always have good luck with George Foreman products.

This is one of the best kitchen appliances I have ever had. It was given to me as a gift, and I just love it! I make lots more one-dish meals because this appliance makes it so easy--plus it's easy to clean! Buy it-you'll like it!

I received this skillet for Christmas, from my husband. We used it last night and it was wonderful! The pork with mojito was evenly cooked through and beautifully browned, and tender. No hot or cold spots. Being able to keep it warm while everyone served themselves, (7 people) was also a bonus. Because the cooking surface area is so large, after serving everyone, there was still enough left over for today's lunch. My daughter-in-law fell in love with it. As soon as I finish this review, I am going to get one for her as well. I also got the Smart Kitchen Multicooker for Christmas. Haven't had a chance to try it yet. Based on my current and previous experiences with George Foreman products (kitchen electronics to clothes) I expect that it will also surpass my expectations as well. Who knows, I may be getting of those one for my daughter-in-law, too!

I can only give this 3 stars. It's ok, but don't like the way it cooks. The heating coils are only in the center of the unit. does not grill evenly at all. The heating coils should go around the hole surface not just in the center. if your only doing 1 or 2 things in it, it's great. This is my first George Forman product and makes me wonder if this is the way the rest are. Was looking at the outdoor grill. The reviews are great, but so where these for this product and just not impressed.

Used the product several times, just not impressed with it because I did not find it easy to cook with and check on my food I was cooking. I also found this hard to clean, it is not dishwasher safe. It also claims that eggs or other product slide around easy with out adding butter or oil and I found this not true and again hard to clean after it. A lot of things stuck to this product for me.

But: It's a 14"x14" square, I thought I ordered a 12"x12". When I got the pan I went back to the site and checked, the site said it was 16"x12".
Grease Channel... works beautifully keeping grease away from foods but this pan has no tilt. I place the skillet on a 1/2" thick piece of wood and let the side with the grease channel sit on the counter so the grease will flow away from the meat.
Intelli-Probe™ digital controls offer variable temperature for precise results... Your choices are 180, 250, 300, 350, 400, 500, the probe does not allow for individual choices of temperatures.
Tempered glass lid... The lid is not glass.
Adjustable steam vent... because the lid does not have the weight of glass it bounces and moisture runs down the sides of the pan onto the counter instead of building pressure making the steam vent release steam. The steam vent does not adjust, it simply spins around and around in it's hole. I fixed this by removing the rubber vent from the lid and letting the steam escape through the hole.
Embedded heating element offers even heat across the entire cooking surface for more consistent cooking... the corners of the pan do not heat well enough to brown chicken, you have to move pieces around so they sit over the heating element to brown.
I do truly love this skillet even though it does not have the GF tilt, I cannot adjust to a temp I prefer, the lid is not glass (as advertised), the steam vent doesn't work, and I have to move my chicken around for it to brown.
Would I recommend it to a friend? I'd show it to them, point out adjustments I've had to make but I would not recommend it until the probe allowed me to cook at the temperature I want, or until it was given the GF tilt which is why I truly like GF appliances. I would want all areas of the skillet to brown whatever I put in it and I would want the steam vent to work.
